There is endless speculation about the sum total of our problems today, in collective terms. We are dealing with a climate crisis, insufficient food production, poverty, starvation, famine, crop failures, auto pollution, air pollution, water pollution, water shortages, territorial wars, rising toxicity, overproduction of consumer goods, forest fires, nowhere to put our garbage, fuel shortages, overcrowding and more. Sounds terrible? Sure it does, but we all just need to wake up to one solution that would fix almost all of our problems: POPULATION CONTROL.

Looking at the daunting list above, you can see that most of those problems would be resolved if there were not so many people on our planet. With fewer people, smaller families, wiser birth control programs, the eradication of religious extremism and incentives for population control, the future for our children and their children would turn brighter almost overnight. If we had any sort of responsible media, a problem discussed at length in my book Evil Genius in the Garden of Eden, then we would be on the march toward a mass awareness of this problem as well as discussion of quick and painless solutions.

The Associated Press reported that the world’s population will go over the seven billion mark in the next five years. That’s too many people. The AP reports:

There are 6.7 billion people in the world today. The United States ranks third, with 304 million, behind China and India, according to projections released Thursday by the Census Bureau.

The world’s population surpassed 6 billion in 1999, meaning it will take only 13 years to add a billion people.

There is no consensus on how many people the Earth can sustain, said William Frey, a demographer at the Brookings Institution, a Washington think tank. He said it depends on how well people manage the Earth’s resources.
