Make Your Mouthsores a Thing of the Past

By making sure you get the right nutrients, you can make your mouthsores a thing of the past.

Mouthsores, mouth ulcers and blisters on the lips and inside your mouth: Not only are these problems recurring in many people, but they’re also quite painful. There are lots of theories and medical explanations for why these mouth sores occur and what to do about them, but here are some things you can try that certainly won’t hurt and have worked for others.

Take these and stock them in your house if you are prone to mouth sores:

  1. CalMag Balance: 10 tablets a day
  2. CaroC: 10 tablets a day
  3. FishOils: 3 capsules a day

How Mouth Sores Are Formed:

To defeat mouthsores it is important to understand how they are caused.

A few nutritionists have demonstrated that when the skin cells are lacking several nutrients, the effect is that the spaces between skin cells fill with fluid, causing a mouth sore. Calcium lactate helps cement the skin cells back together to close these spaces. Other nutrients that are vital to skin health are vitamins A and C complex (not the vitamin pills, but the foods that contain the vitamins, which is why the above whole food supplements are recommended). Consider the fact, for instance, that scurvy results in sores of the mouth, skin and gums, and even deterioration of these tissues. The cure for scurvy is vitamin C foods such as lemons and limes.

Some additional things to look out for as possible causes:

  • stress
  • nutritional deficiencies (such as lack of calcium and vitamins and other minerals)
  • eating peppers, black pepper and hot foods
  • allergies to foods, drugs and chemicals
  • stress on your lips, mouth and gums (eating hard foods that tear at the mouth, extremely hot foods and drinks, brushing with a very hard toothbrush, dentures that rub, chewing on rough objects, extreme weather conditions, etc.)
  • lack of sufficient water that causes dehydration and cracking
