    The Olive Oil Industry is Full of Fraud — you may not be eating the real thing
    The olive oil industry is riddled with fraudulent practices. Most olive oil is a low-grade mixture of olive oil and canola oil that has been deodorized and artificially colored — even if the label states “extra virgin, cold pressed.” Even if the label states that it was made in Italy.

On What Factors Do YOU Base Your Food Choices?

italian_cuisineby Vic Shayne, PhD

Back in 1982, I wrote that people’s food choices are rarely based on what’s good for them. Oddly, though, most people will tell you what’s healthful to eat, but they completely ignore their own guidance.

A 2003 comprehensive study showed that most people base their food choices on taste, cost, and convenience.1

These are insignificant factors when it comes to health care. The biggest problem then, is that there is a disconnect between what people eat and how this relates to their state of health. On what, then, do you base YOUR food choices?

HERE’S a quick checklist to understand how NutriPlex Formulas’ whole food supplements can play a role in your daily nutritional outlook:

1. If eating the typical American diet in which you or your family member bases all food choices on taste, cost and convenience, take, per day, 6 tablets of Whole Food Complex, SuperGreens PhytoFood and BFood Complex;

2. If you eat s a good diet, then use the supplements to bolster your “weak” spots. For instance, you may need to address anxiety or low energy, so you can add BFood Complex; or if you need to address bone health, take Green Nutrients and ProMin Complex;

3. If you are working through an acute or chronic problem, use the appropriate nutrition. For example, BFood Complex for chronic fatigue, GTF Complex for blood sugar imbalances, or FemPlex or Male Support for hormonal irregularities, respectively. Reading through product descriptions will help you easily identify how to bolster your nutrition with specific products.
