My Kids Won't Eat Vegetables!

boyinpark.JPGby Vic Shayne, PhD

Most children today eat so many sugary foods that vegetables have no appeal. This means that from an early age they build health problems associated with a lack of minerals, chlorophyll and vitamin groups.

Can vegetables taste better? Here are some tips…

  • First, don’t feed your children canned or frozen vegetables.
  • Second, don’t cook your vegetables in water.
  • Third, use organically grown vegetables and, if they are green veggies, cook them so they are still firm; never mushy.
  • Fourth, try better seasonings. For instance, cook organic zucchini using garlic, oregano and salt then squeezing a half lemon over the vegetables. Grill on an open frying pan in butter at a medium heat for about 5 minutes. You can combine thin slices of carrots with the zucchini to add some sweetness.

The biggest problem with children’s diets today? Too many sugars (including all carbohydrate foods), not enough real foods (vegetables, fruits, seeds, nuts and whole grains that are all organically grown). What’s the solution? Obviously, it would be to change your child’s diet. But, if that’s not an overnight solution, then think about GreenNutrients, a whole food supplement that provides green vegetables and alkaline minerals.

THE DAILY DIET
Sadly, most Americans eat terribly; their diets make them sick; children are no exception. There’s no nice way of saying this. Adults eat 150 pounds of sugar a year on average, greasy foods, potato chips, french fries, pesticide-laden foods, ice cream, cookies, cake, pop tarts, breakfast cereal, refined junk and soda in aluminum cans, just to name a fraction of the worthless brew. The fastesst growing health problems among children are obesity and diabetes. Just too much sugar and not enough vegetables. What’s worse is people think that with prescription drugs and vitamin pills they can keep healthy. That’s a bunch of nonsense! THERE IS NO FOOD IN VITAMIN PILLS!!!!! This FACT cannot be overstated!

What’s missing from most “good” diets? Alkaline ash minerals found in dark, green foods. Sure, you can eat these foods with spinach salads, broccoli, kale and bok choy, but after assessing the typical diet, the fact is that people on average don’t eat ENOUGH of them. That’s where GreenNutrients come in and why children can take 2-6 tablets a day.

THE ALKALINE-ACID STORY
The human body operates efficiently when it is fed alkaline foods because acidity causes disease, from tooth decay to asthma to cancer to skin problems and more. The only foods that are not acid causing are green vegetables in their uncooked state. These include spinach, parsley, dandelion, kelp, broccoli and alfalfa, which are all rich in alkalinizing POTASSIUM (plus other minerals) and chlorophyll. As such, alkaline ash minerals are what the doctor ordered for:
• Skin conditions
• Heart conditions
• Wound healing
• Tooth and gum problems
• Gastrointestinal/stomach ailments
• Colds and Flu
• Dieting
• Cancer
• Drug use (prescription, over the counter)
• Alcohol drinkers and Smokers
• Sports exertion
• Respiratory/lung conditions
• Arthritis, Gout and Joint pain
• All typical American diets
