Health Tip #7: Avoid Packages

That’s a mighty big claim, but it’s true. Here’s the Health Tip:

Avoid ALL packaged food for three days!

The point of this exercise is this: People, which includes you and every member of your family, are meant to eat foods from nature, not from manufacturing plants. Natural foods include fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts, grains and natural meats. In human beings’ most natural state, there’s no such thing as a bag of Doritos, cheese food or Chips Ahoy. In caveman days, you could live off of apples and dates and seeds, but you wouldn’t find a carton of ice cream anywhere.

The most healthful, disease-preventive, healing foods are the natural ones described above. Almost every “food” contained in a package or wrapper from the grocery store is not nutritious and not meant for human consumption, no matter what the advertisements tell us.

So, if you are brave and interested in your health, try eating non-packaged foods for three days. Go to the health food store and introduce yourself to the fruit and vegetable aisle. Best of health!
