Health Question: Slow Childhood Development
Question: My daughter who is 14 years old looks like a 7 year old. I am wondering
is there anything I could give her to help her growth. At school they
laugh at her and make fun. You can imagine how I feel as a parent
helpless. Can you recommend anything?
Answer: There are several factors that may slow or retard growth and maturity, so the first thing to do is find a good medical doctor who is familiar with growth and development for an analysis and diagnosis.
But even as you do this, there are some good nutritional actions you may take. Nutrition is very important in childhood development. Certain foods are rich in nutrients that are associated with proper cellular function, endocrine health, hormonal health, etc. Here is a simple schedule that provides a host of nutrients, from vitamins to minerals to amino acids and much more:
Per day, divide these up over the day and take with meals.
BFood Complex: 6 tablets per day
SuperGreens PhytoFood: 6 tablets per day
CodLiver Oil capsules: 4 tablets per day
FemPlex: 3 tablets per day
AdrenaPlex: 2 capsules per day
Just as important: Get rid of all junk food from the diet, as this can have a disastrous effect on growth. The reason is that sugar, artificial ingredients and bad fats are poisonous to the body and interfere with the proper functioning of the hormonal system. This is especially true for females, as certain pesticides and synthetic ingredients send signals to the endocrine system that block normal functions.
