Health Question: High Blood Pressure & Calcium
QUESTION: I’m on 2 highblood pressure pills and would like to get off. Also under alot of stress. Could you tell me what to take? Also I heard that calcuim builds in arteries and causes all kind of problems. I heard this from Bill Sardi’s website.
ANSWER: Calcium is not only GOOD for you, but it is ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY. Calcium and cholesterol builds in the arteries due to problems with the arteries, NOT because we eat calcium. The human body cannot live without calcium; it’s one of the most important minerals to human biochemistry. We need calcium for fighting infections, quelling fevers, building bones, repairing wounds, nerve transmission, heart function, muscle contraction and relaxation, digestion and a host of other functions.
When the blood vessels become weakened due to poor nutrition or nutritional deficiencies, then they crack and begin to deteriorate. Sometimes they bleed (hemmorhage). This sends an alert to the body to patch the damaged vessels. The body sends in cholesterol and/or calcium to do the work. Eventually these elements can build up in the blood vessels and block them, causing other problems. But, as you can see, it’s not the fault of the calcium, and you should NOT stop consuming calcium or calcium foods or even good quality fats, because the real problem lies in the lack of nutrition to feed your blood vessels. Blood vessels stay healthy with the FOODS that contain (not vitamin pills) vitamin A and C complexes, flavonoids and a variety of minerals, essential fatty acids and proteins. These nutrients are found in whole foods, whcih is why we only advocate the use of NutriPlex Formuals’ whole food supplements.
NEXT is the STRESS & CARDIOVASCULAR (heart health) issue. The number one product for stress relief is BFood Complex by NutriPlex Formulas. Here is a good schedule for the ALL OF THE problems you described.

Whenever you begin taking supplements, keep in touch with your medical doctor so that he can decide how or if or when to re-adjust your medications.
