The Olive Oil Industry is Full of Fraud — you may not be eating the real thing
The olive oil industry is riddled with fraudulent practices. Most olive oil is a low-grade mixture of olive oil and canola oil that has been deodorized and artificially colored — even if the label states “extra virgin, cold pressed.” Even if the label states that it was made in Italy.

Health Guide: Blood Sugar

OVERVIEW

The average American eats 140 pounds of sugar a year. It’s an outrageous statistic and it shows that diabetes, inflammation, heart disease and other serious health problems are highly predictable.

When your diet is filled with sweets, from soft drinks to desserts, you are threatening your pancreas and insulin-making abilities, as your body tries desperately to get the sugar out of your blood stream and into your cells. When you can’t process the sugar, a certain amount is stored in your liver and your muscles and eventually is turned into fat.

Eating too much sugar in your daily diet puts your pancreas, skin, heart and other organs on a roller coaster ride. If you fall off, that’s called diabetes.

THE PROBLEM

tIt seems the people most concerned about their blood sugar are those who have been diagnosed with a medical problem. But this is a big mistake, because everybody should be aware of the delicate balance between health and disease. When you eat too much sugar, or a high carbohydrate diet (pasta, cake, pretzels, bread, pizza, cookies, muffins, potatoes and other starches), your blood sugar rises. High blood sugar, on a regular basis, leads to a stressed-out pancreas, and this leads to diabetes, hypoglycemia and many other problems.

How can you avoid becoming a statistic?

THE NATURAL APPROACH

There are a number of natural health care doctors who are telling us that diabetes is avoidable. Some say it is reversible. But what does it take? Apparently there are three major areas to be concerned about:

  1. Diet
  2. Exercise
  3. Lifestyle

When it comes to diet, your body is just not designed to handle tremendous amounts of sugar. Refined sugar isn’t even a real food! You have to avoid eating it and you need to know about GTF (glucose tolerance factor). GTF is a molecule that is found in certain foods, chief of which is an edible yeast that has chromium that the body uses to balance blood sugar. GTF helps support and protect your pancreas, which is the organ that is most stressed out by sugar in your bloodstream. Plus, you need to eat more green vegetables because the vitamins and minerals help support all of your other organs, digestive system and electrolyte balance that are affected by sugar.

THE RESEARCH

Researchers at the University of Maryland Medical Center tell us, ”In 1957, researchers discovered a compound extracted from pork kidney called glucose tolerance factor (GTF). Administration of GTF helped diabetic rats use insulin more efficiently…Chromium was later identified as the active component of GTF. Today, scientists believe that chromium helps insulin bring glucose from the blood into the cells for energy. As many as 90% of American diets are low in chromium….”

GTF Complex is essential in today’s world of sugary foods, diabetes and hypogycemia (low blood sugar)

SUPPLEMENTS

The whole reason GTF Complex was introduced to the NutriPlex Formulas’ whole food supplement line is to help balance blood sugar.

And Green Nutrients provides an array of vitamins and minerals to support the major organs and electrolyte balance.

Besides containing chromium-rich, GTF food, GTF Complex also has an Indian herb called gymnema which has been shown to block sugar molecules from rapidly entering your bloodstream.

These are two completely natural and mild food supplements that your body will know how to use.
