The Olive Oil Industry is Full of Fraud — you may not be eating the real thing
The olive oil industry is riddled with fraudulent practices. Most olive oil is a low-grade mixture of olive oil and canola oil that has been deodorized and artificially colored — even if the label states “extra virgin, cold pressed.” Even if the label states that it was made in Italy.

Five Affordable Ways to Keep Yourself Healthy

Prevention is the most affordable form of Healthcare. As the economy goes through problems, more and more people are turning to natural health care to lower their health costs. Being sick costs money in many ways, from lost time to cash out of pocket and copays, etc. And it’s much better to take care of yourself at low cost now while you can, than to suffer big health bills later on when it is too late.

Here are five AFFORDABLE things you can do to stay healthier:

  1. Keep your body a constant temperature. Don’t exposure yourself to temperature fluctuations, going from warm to cold and cold to hot. This can make you sick. Take your mother’s advice and wear a sweater if it’s cool outside.
  2. Don’t eat junk food. Junk food isn’t really food in that the human body doesn’t recognize it as being friendly and supportive. It makes people sick.
  3. Exercise three times a week. By exercise, you should do something not only to move around, but also to create at least a moderate degree of perspiration and increased heartbeat.
  4. Take time out to laugh. This reduces stress and stimulates your immune system. Share laughs with friends, rent a funny movie or watch monkeys at the zoo. Whatever it does, let it make you laugh.
  5. Eat enough vitamin C foods. These include citrus (oranges, lemons, limes, apples, etc.). Vitamin C has been associated with reduced sickness.

If you’re wondering what kind of Vitamin C to take, it’s important that you avoid isolates. Your body absorbs Vitamin C much more effectively when it comes in its original food complex. We offer a great whole food Vitamin C Food supplement called Flavo-C that we HIGHLY Recommend. Read more about it here.
