Fats From Fish Prevent Cancer

According to scientists at the Institute of Food Research, England, fatty acid from fish may help prevent a pre-cancerous condition from developing further. A high consumption of fish is associated in some studies with a reduced risk of cancer of the esophagus. There’s a fatty acid that’s called eicosapentaenoic acid (EPA) that scientists say inhibits an enzyme associated with the cancer.
This information about fish oils/fats is just one more that shows how beneficial EPA (eicosapentaenoic acid)
is. Taking fish oils has grown in popularity due to so many findings about its role in cancer prevention, emotional problems, hormone regulation, anti-inflammation and more.
The main problem today is that few people eat the right kinds of fats. Instead, they eat fats that are altered, including margarine, trans fats, fried oils, fake fats, spray-on oils, canola oil and more. Fish oils provide the healthy, omega 3, kind of fat that your body can use for health and prevention.
What conditions or symptoms indicate a need for more high-omega-3 foods?
Depression
Cardiovascular Disease
Type 2 Diabetes
Fatigue
Dry, itchy skin
Brittle hair and nails
Inability to concentrate
Joint pain
