If eating mushrooms exacerbated yeast infections, wouldn&#039;t there be a centuries-old plague of them throughout Eastern Europe. Don&#039;t even get me started on Marmite. Doesn&#039;t the stomach acid kill the yeast, anyway?</description>

		<description>Thank you for this information.  This reaffirms what I&#039;d heard previously, that eating yeast and mushrooms doesn not exacerbate yeast infections, but sugar, glucose does.   However, as you say, having a sensitivity to yeast (as I do, as well as to wheat) you&#039;d want to avoid foods containing yeast (and wheat).  Also, I have read numerous times that having a yeast infection caused by candida albicans (candidiasis) can create these sensitivities to certain foods in the first place.  Thanks again for the information.</description>
